This past year we have continued to meet with new ministry leaders of ministries which are covered by Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) legislation; have developed a Social Media policy; and are in the process of reviewing our other policies. The annual training is always a good time to get ministry leaders of children’s ministries together and new members of their teams. We were delighted that James Spence joined Eric J Scott, Ewens Evans and myself on the team however, we are still looking for a member who has social work experience.

By July of this year all those working in children’s ministries should have migrated onto the new PVG disclosure scheme and so hopefully everyone has now visited our faithful signatories Sue Rose and Trevor Gould.

Our role is to support and to ensure that as a church we meet the legal requirements of PVG and look after our children well... all for the glory of God!
